Our Holga Portraits :)

my husbands love for the effects of the defects began few months back when he came across a number of websites that exhibited the Holga-ish effects.... at once he ordered for a Holga.... and soon enough got a few rolls and started clicking his way to glory... however, on account of work this passion of his had to take a back-seat for a few weeks in between and he finally finished his first roll in May and subsequently got it developed at Target photo counter....  however to our disappointment.. we realized that not only does this camera need practise :( but it also works best with customised editing...

so we worked on the trade over the next few rolls and finally got our desired Holga portraits :D

PS: the scanning process is on... so expect many more Holga photos in the days to come :):)

the colourful ambience of Gran Agave...

With pleasure I present to you some photographs of the colourful ambience of the Mexican Restaurant, Gran Agave......... where husband and me delighted ourselves in Mole Pablano,  Guacamole Salad and  Pollo Criollo last night....  

  

 

 Since this was our first scoop on Mexican cuisine besides the usual take outs of burritos  from Chipotle... so there isn't much i can say about the authenticity of the food... but keeping in mind how lighted the place is... i would definitely like to go back to this joint on a bright sunny winter afternoon....

Dinner at LongHorn Steakhouse.......

eversince our little-one's homecoming news was delivered to us i have been avoiding eating out as much as possible... the thing is that i am not quite accustomed with american food and it scares me ... lest i should eat something that is not agreeable with my little man.... 

but after the long hot week last night i just didn't feel like cooking yet another meal... so i readily agreed when husband proposed that we go out for dinner... 

having developed a taste for steaks over the last one and a half years he suggested the LongHorn Steakhouse... and the online-menu seemed to have a lot of options without indulging into soft cheese or herbs of any kind...

   so LongHorn Steakhouse it was........

while husband ordered a beer and a big burger .... i was happy with my citrus grilled chicken and side of seasonal veggies..... so much so that i completely forgot my intention of taking photographs of the food we ate........

however we did remember to take a snap of the dessert ... the sight of which made me exceedingly happy...though the photograph doesn't say so .... { guess sometimes photographs can't say it all... ;)}

so you see...... sunday-night just happened to be a delicious date-night for this extremely-cautious-mom-to-be..... :):)
